Wine and Oil

Nature has been very generous with the Fattorie Santo Pietro.
The estate is characterized by gentle hills of greenery, woods, green fields. An unspoiled nature that will make your stay at the Fattorie more comfortable and relaxing. The real stars are the vineyards and olive trees, real pearls set in this land of Tuscany.

There are about 40 hectares of vineyards, entire hills covered with vines. The vines are pruned cordon, with very low yields per hectare. And the real show begins in September, when green grapes is transformed gradually into orange and red. At that time the harvest begins to give very good wines, as is tradition in the area. Wine is appreciated and rewarded in Italy and worldwide.

The olive groves are great actors: 3800 olive trees, scattered on the estate. An heritage that gives each year an world class extra virgin olive oil of high quality certified. A deep color and robust taste, obtained by wise cold pressing as tradition requires.

Olio extravergine d'oliva

Situated as it is in the hills of central Tuscany, the Fattorie di Santo Pietro lies in one of Italy's best olive-growing areas. The olives, which come from trees planted in prime olive-growing areas, are harvested early. They are hand-picked directly from the trees.

The olives are kept for a strictly limited period before being cold-pressed. The result is this extra virgin olive oil, which contains the aromas and sunshine of Tuscany and one of the lowest degrees of acidity to be found in fine olive oils.
